Donald Williams, the co-founder of Platypus Asset Management, a well-known Australian equities investment house, has died at 59.
Williams started the Sydney-headquartered funds management business in 1998 with Nick Wright after working at Credit Suisse First Boston as a commodities’ analyst. He stepped down from his investment and management responsibilities in 2016 due to health reasons.
