ASX to slip, European stocks mostly lower

Australian shares are poised to fall modestly to start the session. European markets closed mostly lower; Wall Street was closed for a federal holiday.
New Zealand will release its first-quarter GDP statistics at 8.45am. The other key print on Thursday will be a policy decision by the Bank of England, at 9pm. There will also be policy decisions from central bankers in Norway and Switzerland.
