ASX closes little changed as Telstra, AMP report earnings

The Australian sharemarket closed little changed on Thursday as gains among the major banks and miners offset falls in technology.
The S&P/ASX 200 Index edged up by less than a tenth of a per cent, closing 3.9 points higher at 6860.8.
