Dutton pledges to release nuclear costs before 2025 election

Peter Dutton has moved to counter the government’s key attack against his signature nuclear power policy, promising that full costings for building seven reactors will be available to voters ahead of next year’s election.
On Wednesday, when he announced his plans for five large-scale nuclear plants and two small modular reactors, the opposition leader said he would not make public the full cost.
