Qantas pushes for 40pc female cadet pilot intake within four years

Qantas is aiming for its overall female cadet pilot intake to hit 40 per cent by 2028, though its intake at its pilot academy has been just 20 per cent women in recent years.
Australia’s biggest airlines are pushing to get more women into the cockpit as the overwhelming dominance of men in lucrative pilot jobs globally pushes their gender pay gaps as high as 53.5 per cent.
