Ousted prime minister Scott Morrison had what has usually been dubbed a “problem” with female voters, disastrously compounded by a party with more of the same. So, we do wonder at the optics of his latest social commitment, at Sydney’s opulent Australian Club. Where, we guarantee, he won’t be scouting out new female Liberal Party members, or indeed spending much time listening to women at all.
