National Anti-Corruption Commission could be operating by mid-2023

The Albanese government hopes to fast-track legislation to set up a National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) so it can be up and running by mid-2023.

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus is scheduled to unveil Labor’s model to Caucus on Tuesday and plans to introduce the bill to parliament on Wednesday, when it would be referred to a joint committee for review.
