It’s just as well Clive Palmer moved his corporate headquarters to Singapore — because that’s where most of the money from his disastrous political campaigns ends up.

There are many creative ways that under-employed billionaires can throw money away — playing with private jets, golf resorts and nickel refineries. And then there’s running a special philanthropy fund to benefit the nation’s lawyers in endless court cases. It has to be said that Clive has shown a particular flair in each of these fields.
