Indigenous Voice won’t be ‘third chamber’: Law Council

The Law Council has rejected the notion that a constitutionally enshrined Indigenous Voice would become the third chamber of parliament, saying concerns expressed by leading Coalition figures are “misplaced”.

Law Council president Tass Liveris said he hoped all parties could commit to the reform on Thursday, which marks the fifth anniversary of the Uluru Statement of the Heart.
