As someone who grew up in outback Queensland, Nev Power has long had a passion for flying aircraft.

“I love flying, whenever I get a chance to do it,” the commercially qualified pilot told Perth media outlet Business News in 2018 not long after stepping down from running Andrew Forrest’s iron ore giant Fortescue.
