How to know if you are a Christmas COVID-19 close contact

Health authorities in NSW have clarified isolation rules for close contacts in the state, with household members and others exposed to infection required to stay home for seven days.

Relaxed rules announced on Wednesday and aimed at saving thousands from missing Christmas celebrations and the start of summer holidays require fully vaccinated people to isolate until they get a negative test result, even if they are identified as a close contact of an infected person.
