Starting on Tuesday, Parliament will sit for four of the next five weeks. Apart from potentially becoming a nationwide super-spreading event for the delta variant of COVID-19, there doesn’t seem to be much point.
The Morrison government has long regarded parliamentary sitting weeks as something to be endured rather than utilised to its advantage.
