Indonesia vaccinates first million, 180m to go

Jakarta/Sydney | A prominent Indonesian epidemiologist has slammed plans to fine those who refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19, saying government priorities are misplaced.
The regional administration is so intent on enforcing vaccinations that those living in the capital, Jakarta, could be fined up to 4 million Indonesian rupiah ($450) for refusing the jab.
