NBN Co chief executive Stephen Rue earned more than $3 million last financial year, topping taxpayer-funded salaries after receiving a $1.2 million bonus.

Mr Rue earned more than Australia Post CEO Christine Holgate, who was paid $1.6 million in 2019-20 after a voluntary pay cut and a move by the government-owned corporation to curb bonuses.
