Business leaders have called on the federal government to use the COVID-19 crisis to push through reforms that encourage flexible working and overhaul excise and payroll taxes, but say the government's top priority should be keeping jobs.
Peter Harmer, the chief executive of insurance group IAG, which runs brands including NRMA and CGU, said there was a big appetite across Australia for the federal government to be bold in policy-making when it comes to driving a recovery.
