Closing the gap update to include ambitious incarceration targets
An update of the Closing the Gap targets will include efforts to drive down Indigenous incarceration, including ambitious goals to limit the number of young people in jail.
National cabinet plans for new targets to be agreed by the end of July, the first major reset of the targets to address Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander disadvantage in more than a decade.
