Scott Morrison has embraced a commitment by the NSW Liberal government to adopt net zero emissions by 2050, in a further sign he is keeping open the option of doing the same himself.
At the same time, pressure is building within the National party for its leader Michael McCormack to rule out even embracing a 2050 target.
