Australia moves to end logjam over trade disputes

Australia will join other countries to establish a voluntary system to resolve trade disputes in a bid to work around the collapse of the World Trade Organisation's appeals body.
The joint statement, released on Friday evening, comes a day after US President Donald Trump flagged he would seek to reform the global trade body, taking aim at China and India for continuing to claim concessions as developing nations despite their stellar economic growth.
