Pinterest more like Box than Square
The Lex ColumnPinterest’s shares started trading last Thursday with some impressive credentials to buoy them up. The US social network claims half of users shop on its site and that eight out of 10 American mothers have an account on its virtual pinboard.
That combination sounds dreamy for advertising revenue. Yet Pinterest’s efforts to monetise have been slow. They show few signs of gaining pace.
