Three Australian bars ranked in world’s top 50, led by ‘beloved spot’
Three Australian venues, including two in Melbourne, have been named in the world’s top 50 bars, a prestigious list selected by a global academy of bartenders and critics.
Caretaker’s Cottage, a tiny venue in Melbourne’s CBD that accepts walk-ins only, was the country’s top watering hole and also took out best bar in Australasia, rising from No. 23 to 21 in the global rankings, announced in Madrid overnight.
