It is no surprise to see billionaire businessman Jack Cowin has beaten me to Catalina, the iconic harbourside restaurant in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, because he lives just round the corner.
It is a relief, though, to finally get together. We’ve been trying for a while to find a slot in his calendar after everything was put on hold for a month while he sailed around Europe to celebrate his 80th birthday with his kids and grandkids.
