Australian fashion designer and editor Maggie Tabberer has died at 87. Known for her distinctive turban and for making affordable, accessible plus-size fashion for Australian women, Tabberer’s family announced her death on Friday morning.
Tabberer, who was born Margaret May Trigar in Adelaide, began her career as a teen model in the 1950s.
