Polestar, the Swedish-Chinese electric car company that grew out of Volvo, released its first mainstream model in 2020. The attractive liftback sedan, known simply as the 2, was a hit, but since then the company has been teasing, testing and talking up other new models, without actually bringing them to market.
Now, in Australia, we suddenly have two new Polestars at once: the 4, a fastback sedan/SUV mash-up, and the 3, a larger and more traditionally shaped SUV that is closely related to the Volvo EX90.
