The Daytona 365 GTB is one of the most beautiful coupes Ferrari has ever made. It’s also half a century old and, when in good nick, sells for around $1 million. I have always dreamed of one day driving one. I didn’t expect that, when that day arrived, I would be giving it hell, slipping and sliding around tight corners and revving the big V12 up towards its redline.
Such is the experience that awaits those who sign up for the Corso Pilota Classiche, a crazy-mad program where Ferrari owners can spend a day (and about $13,000) belting the company’s historic cars around its Fiorano test track in northern Italy.
