The best presents this Mother’s Day are those that will absorb the mum in your life for many hours – and can be obtained remotely and enjoyed at a socially responsible distance. My nominations are two motor sport-related books, neither new, but both thoroughly absorbing – and available in e-book format if the hard copy isn’t obtainable.

Both have “Queen” in the title and concern remarkable women born in the year 1900, but are otherwise unrelated.
