McLaren has flipped the lid on the 750S. And, if the pattern established with its 720S predecessor continues, more than two-thirds of buyers will go for the convertible rather than the coupe.
That’s an unusual stat in the supercar world, mainly because the droptop versions tend to be markedly heavier and therefore slower. Less so here, thanks to the brand’s hallmark carbon-fibre tubs, which allow a McLaren Spider to get by without the extra rigidity normally provided by a roof.
