The fees and charges that add to the cost of a concert ticket could soon have to be itemised and displayed to a consumer, if the recommendations of a federal parliamentary inquiry are adopted.
The House of Representatives inquiry was called last year in response to a string of music festival and venue closures and a perception that an increasingly globalised music industry was favouring the Taylor Swifts and Bruno Marses at the expense of Australian artists.
