Next time you’re clearing out the attic keep your eyes peeled for old comic books. Last weekend, a copy of The Phantom #1, printed in Australia, sold at auction for more than $20,000, almost double the estimated price.
Editions #2, #3, #4 and #5 of The Phantom also broke price records for their editions and, collectively, the five comics fetched more than $50,000 at the Lloyds Auctions sale.
