Why I wrote a book about being stalked
Stalking memoirs are pretty thin on the ground. Anyone who has been through the horror of being stalked is unlikely to risk escalating the situation by writing about their experience and trying to get it published. What if the stalker were to read it? How might they react? What if they got angry and wanted revenge? You’d have to be mad to take the chance.
So why, in the name of sanity, did I write Rattled, a memoir that details my own experience of being pursued by a stranger?
