'The Wife' author Meg Wolitzer on MeToo, the Oscars and Tim Tams
American author Meg Wolitzer is having what she describes as her "Hollywood moment".
Her novel The Wife was turned into a movie that nearly won Glenn Close an Academy Award, while her most recent book, The Female Persuasion, has caught the eye of Nicole Kidman. The Australian actress will co-produce, and is also tipped to star in, the film version of the book for Amazon Studios. Meanwhile, Wolitzer co-wrote a young adult novel, To Night Owl From Dogfish, which has been picked up by the Weitz brothers, Chris and Paul, who are known for comedies including About a Boy and American Pie.
