An animal sanctuary in Victoria has received a welcome cash injection from the sale of an expert 17th-century copy of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa at a London auction.

The copy of Mona Lisa by an unknown artist hung in the house in Hawthorn where Meaghan Adams and her two sisters grew up.
