There’s a lot riding on Opera Australia’s annual outdoor production but director Shaun Rennie is more worried about nothing getting blown into Sydney Harbour.

For a theatre director, having a stage four times larger than usual can only be a great thing, right?

Shaun Rennie, who is directing his first Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour (HOSH) – Guys & Dolls, which plays to the public from this weekend – doesn’t deny there is much fun to be had with the bigger space but said it also throws up problems to solve.
