Global contemporary art giant Gagosian is bringing the work of Australia’s leading Aboriginal desert painters to the Asian market following critically acclaimed exhibitions in New York and Los Angeles last year.

The contemporary powerhouse, known for showing the works of international art stars such as Damien Hirst, Yayoi Kusama and Jeff Koons, launched Desert Painters of Australia: Two Generations in Hong Kong last Thursday night, its first exhibition of Indigenous Australian art in the region.
