What is claimed to be one of the most important paintings in South Australia is to be offered at Adelaide auctioneer Elder Fine Art on Sunday.

'Commencement of colonisation of South Australia' was painted on handmade paper by the founder of Adelaide Colonel William Light (1786-1839). Estimate: $90,000 to $120,000 .
