A rare and fascinating glimpse into the financial lives of top Australian artists is being offered courtesy of a single vendor auction to be held in Melbourne next week.

Titled The Lyn Faulkner Collection of Art, the auction will offer 350 lots across two days, and is estimated by Gibson’s auctioneers to fetch a hammer price aggregate of between $165,700 and $276,050.
