Senate vote is imminent for the Turnbull government's Gonski 2.0 school funding plan

In a few days, seven weeks after Malcolm Turnbull and his education minister Simon Birmingham sprung their surprise heist of Labor's Gonski school funding policy, their Gonski 2.0 legislation will be put to a vote in the Senate.
It's passage is in the balance. The government needs 10 more senators to back it.
