On the eve of the opening of the University of Sydney's new nanoscience hub, a university nanotech spin-off company has been boosted by an $11 million investment.
The company, Gelion, is developing new battery technology using nano structured gels which have better performance than lithium ion batteries in their charging and discharging speed, as well as being smaller, safer, more durable and cheaper.
