Virgin executives meet prospective investors ahead of IPO decision

Bain Capital is meeting with potential Virgin Australia investors in a new round of discussions ahead of a final decision on whether it should proceed or hold off a float of the country’s second-largest airline.

Virgin chief executive Dave Emerson and the head of its Velocity frequent flyer business, Nick Rohrlach, have been leading the meetings with fund managers, billed as a business update. It had already conducted a roadshow with fund managers the first week of April.
