Transurban ‘exploiting government stupidity’: Kelty

Former ACTU secretary and Linfox Group director Bill Kelty has slammed the excessive returns earned by toll road operator Transurban while proposing a new framework for infrastructure investment.

During an interview to mark the 30th anniversary of compulsory super, Mr Kelty said Australia had “one of the highest cost building of tunnels and roads in the world – you go to Victoria it’s double the cost in Spain”.
