Brisbane tradie Henry Ladd backs Labor’s new fuel efficiency standards and rubbishes the federal opposition’s claim it will send the price of utes and four-wheel drives through the roof.
Mr Ladd would happily pay more upfront to reduce both his carbon footprint and his fortnightly $220 diesel fuel bill, but says it’s too early for tradies to ride the electric vehicle wave.
