Qantas this week interviewed key executives in the race to replace its long-standing chief executive, Alan Joyce, with a final decision expected to be made ahead of an investor strategy day late next month.
The airline’s chief financial officer, Vanessa Hudson, and Qantas Loyalty boss Olivia Wirth remain the favourites to replace Mr Joyce, one of the country’s highest profile, and most divisive, chief executives.
