As Karen Cao stood at Sydney Airport’s international arrivals terminal with a bouquet of flowers, the newly instituted mandatory COVID-19 testing for people travelling from China was the last thing on her mind.
The 25-year-old deals modeller from consulting firm PwC had not seen her parents in four years and was excited to spend Chinese New Year with them in Sydney.
