MP’s home address disclosed in Qantas breach

At least one federal MP’s home address is in the hands of cybercriminals after Qantas’ widespread data breach, raising questions about the security of the airline’s most high-profile customers.

The MP, who did not wish to be identified, received an email from Qantas on Thursday night detailing a list of data fields that had been breached. The email, excerpts of which were provided to AFR Weekend, said her address, name, email address, Qantas frequent flyer number, status tier, phone number and gender had been revealed.
