Rich Lister Nick Politis has again been buying up shares in Australia’s largest car dealership group, Eagers Automotive, as it positions for an acceleration in the take-up of electric vehicles by motorists.

Politis, ranked 51st on The Australian Financial Review Rich List in 2022 with an estimated wealth of $2.23 billion, already owns 27.6 per cent of Eagers, which runs 200 showrooms selling dozens of the biggest mainstream automotive brands including Toyota, Mazda, Volkswagen, Ford and Volvo.
