The chief executive of the lightweight wheel maker Carbon Revolution says a large chunk of the new orders driving an expansion of its Geelong factory funded by a $95 million capital raising are from electric vehicle makers.

Jake Dingle said on Friday the company is investing $72 million in a new “mega-line” at its Geelong manufacturing plant in Victoria which will increase production capacity by 75,000 wheels annually to 155,000 wheels.
