Bonza administrators ask for more time to save stranded budget carrier

The administrators of collapsed budget airline Bonza will ask the court for more time to try to sell what remains of the carrier as its owner, Miami-based private equity fund 777 Partners, attempts to limit its liabilities.

Hall Chadwick will make the application at the Federal Court at the same time as 777 Partners and its financiers – New York-based insurance giant A-Cap – are mired in legal action in the United Kingdom and the United States over its aviation assets.
