Australia's $2.4 billion ski industry is waiting with bated, foggy breath to find out whether travel restrictions could be lifted, giving them a green light for the 2020 ski season.

Although the season traditionally begins on the Queen's Birthday weekend in June, the COVID-19 pandemic has cast a cloud of uncertainty over when, if it all, this year's season could start.
