Tourism operators in shock as Qld borders stay closed

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has backtracked on her promise to open up the state's borders by mid-July, as tourism operators warn they may not be able to stay afloat until September.

As NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian flagged plans to allow holidays within the state by June 1, Ms Palaszczuk warned she may not budge on ending the border shutdown until September.
