Webjet predicts a recovery in the pandemic-smashed travel industry will be “episodic and not uniform”, contrasting with initial hopes of a strong rebound.

The guidance came at Melbourne-based Webjet’s annual general meeting on Tuesday, which featured an investor backlash against executive pay packages.
