Ardent charged over Dreamworld deaths, faces $4.5m in fines
Ardent Leisure Group is facing potential fines of up to $4.5 million after being charged over the deaths of four people at its Dreamworld theme park in 2016, but company executives escaped punishment.
The listed company confirmed in a statement to the ASX on Tuesday that the Queensland Work Health and Safety Prosecutor had filed three charges against its subsidiary company, Ardent Leisure Ltd, the operator of Dreamworld.
